Apex To Honor A Passing Friend | o-TwistedDreams
25One Of The Very Few People I Call Friend Has Passed Away In Car Crash. He Was Way Too Young, and he had impacted so many people's lives. I wanted to do something to honor him, so I thought I would do one last challenge that he may have one day given me, Hit Master and possibly Predator Rank On Apex.
Apex Was His Absolute Favorite Game, and I Would Not be playing this game If it were not for him. He gave me a few challenges like getting 100 kills on every character, and i gave him challenges like beating BOTW with only 3 hearts. While I completed Matt's Challenges, I have never tried very hard to be good at this game, I have always been content with just being pretty decent; not the best but not the worst. Matt, however, wanted so much to hit master's rank and predator on something other than the switch console, and he was so close to reaching it; Less than two ranks away. He would have probably Hit Master's after getting home from work that same day had he been given the chance.
Twisted and I Both got upset with our teammates but we handled it differently. He would just accept that his teammates were not helpful but not let it affect his game. I always knew what i had to change in myself to be a better player, to be a better teammate, but I didn't. We did well as a team, we stuck together, and we won games; Even if most games Twisted played in with anyone he was personally clutching the win. His Influence on how i play his favorite game cannot be understated.
In my own way to honor him, I will make the changes necessary in how i play to reach those heights that i couldn't help him with before. Maybe If I Can Reach Those Victories, We Can Say He Did Too. As Twisted Would Say, Live every day like it is your last, enjoy every moment you can, and see all the things in your life already as a blessing.
