In this video we check out ApolloOS, the free and open 68k Amiga OS 3.X replacement shown running on an NTSC Amiga 1200 system equipped with a Vampire 1200 card from MAJSTA of Apollo Team. ApolloOS is based on AROS the intel based attempt to get a Amiga 3.X OS derivative running on ubiquitous INTEL PCs. This forked version sheds the bloated X86 code base and concentrates on fully optimizing AROS for 68K using the fastest 68k instructions though assembler / C code. The Vampire 1200 cards are shipping now and you can see it runs ApolloOS quite well with Gold Core 2.13 beta.
Please note this beta core ApolloOS combo doesn't play well with NTSC boards just yet this will be fixed in later iterations of the core / OS combo.
