The relationship between Apple and Intel has had its upsides and downsides.
In recent years, there have been mostly downsides, with Intel processors holding back the user experience of Apple's Macs due to constant technology delays and other issues that I mention in this video.
Luckily, Apple has recently announced the switch to ARM-based Apple Silicon Macs, so I talk about the benefits of that transition.
TSMC is the chipmaker for Apple's current iOS devices and its also gonna be manufacturing the chips for Apple Silicon Macs.
So I compared the future outlooks for both Intel and TSMC, comparing their release timelines and the processor technology and transistor density to find out if Apple made a wide decision by choosing TSMC over Intel for their future Macs.
Finally, I show off a ton of tweets by real app developers who have hands--on experience with the very first Apple Silicon Mac, Apple's Developer Transition Kit with the A12Z Bionic chip.
