Ok, so now that I've caught your attention, you know that this is just an April Fools prank. However, it's also a video that I've been wanting to do for a long time. I've always wondered what goes through people's mind when they decide to make a thumbnail like the one from this video for their Top 10, and why the editing tends to be really poor and the facts disappointing, but what makes me angrier is the fact that they don't care about putting a 1-minute add in the middle of the video. But now I get it all: they do it for the money. They don't care that people dislike their videos, as long as they get the views, nothing else matters.
Then what is the purpose of becoming a YouTuber if you don't put effort and love on what you do? I mean, money is fine, because you're not going to say no if someone offered you to earn money for doing what you love to do, but if you don't love what you do, then what is YouTube to you?
This video is a parody of what I imagine goes through those Top 10 channels minds: the money is all I need. No effort, no research, no editing skills. Just a microphone, Google and a YouTube account. I am very proud of being a fair YouTuber that still finds this as a hobby, as is happy to see how his followers enjoy his content the same way he enjoys making it. So please, if you ever want to make Top 10s, don't be like what you just saw. Be fair, enjoy what you do, and more people will appreciate your content, even though less people might watch it.
