I finally got a fortune to buy an Aputure Amaran 100D
I really wanted to try this light for a long time since I got a very bad fan noise from my Godox SL60W.
Godox SL60W wasn't a terrible light. It's actually one of the most affordable continuous lights to make a video (and photo) for anyone.
My only problem with SL60W is the fan noise. I found it very noticeable in an ASMR video since I have to crank to volume up and the mic will capture almost all the noise that I've never heard before when making a regular video.
This light costs about $200 or IDR 3million in Rupiah. I have to pay double the price of my SL60W for a 'budget' Aputure light.
It has a more light output (100 vs 60w) and better color (maybe, I dunno, I don't have any color checker or spectrometer yet)
But other reviewers in YouTube said it has a better fan noise than SL60W.
Is it worth the money?
