In this video, I review the augmented reality live camera translation in Google Translate app. I was using the Android version of Google Translate. I wonder how good it got since it first launched.

I used Google Translate AR real-time translation to search for products in the local store. I wanted to see whether this live augmented translation is useful and whether I'll be able to manage myself while in Japan and knowing any Japanese.

One of the AR apps that I personally would be using right here right now with AR glasses is language translation. However, until we reach the point where AR glasses will become common and I'll be able to use a translation app in augmented reality (AR) with it, I've decided to give Google Translate a go and see how it goes.

It's a long review, but it transfers the experience I had with it while shopping and I also show many examples of how the translate actually works with different types of products in the store.
