All the thrills and spills of the arcade game in a cardboard format in the Pole Position board game! Released in 1983 by Parker Brothers, players use various movement cards (move 5, move 4, move rookie/move 2, move 2/shift track) in an attempt to be the first car around the track.

Adapted from the popular 80s arcade game, your goal is to cross the finish line first in this fast moving game. Your cards give you a special edge that speeds you up so that everyone has a chance at winning. Your chances improve if your strategy is smart. This means playing your cards cleverly and slowing down opponents by moving the track, blocking them with rookie cars and forcing them to travel in the outside lane.
