A sequel of the Snow Bros. : Nick & Tom, released in 1990 by Toaplan.

- Trivia -

Basically, this game was deverloped and programmed by Toaplan. However, Toaplan didn't release this game because Toaplan was bankrupted before this game was released. Some developers and employees of Toaplan launched a company called Hanafram before their company was completely bankrupted, and they finally released this game that looked like released by Hanafram.
In the early of 1990s, when the Japanese asset price bubble was completely damaged and blew up, Toaplan had lots of assets(real estate). Their price became much lower than they had purchased.
At that time, their games were not as popular as other games like Street Fighters 2(1992) or other games, because their game genre were mainly shoot'em up. At that time, fighting games were much more popular than shoot'em up games.

When the DIP switch setting of this game to select region is USA or EUROPE, at the select screen and attract demo, you can see REAL(REAL-like) photos(or pictures) of kids that looks like the characters you can select.
If the switch setting were JAPAN, HONG KONG, SOUTHEAST ASIA, or KOREA, you can see character pictures, not real(real-like) photos(or pictures).
If you set the region KOREA, at the end of the game(after finishing world 6), you can see the staff roll.


- Tips -

Strike(Straight) : Use 1, 2, or 3 balls to clear ALL enemies(except some enemies that can be cleared by hit only once) AT ONCE.
- Clear all enemies with ONLY A ONE BALL : "GREAT" will be appeared at the screen and 10,000 pts items will be dropped.
- Clear all enemies with 2 balls : "NICE!" will be appeared at the screen and 5,000 pts items will be dropped.
- Clear all enemies with 3 balls : "GOOD!" will be appeared at the screen and 3,000 pts items will be dropped.
If you clear all enemies after getting the trophy(Invincible mode for a while), it is the same as clear all enemies with only a ball.

Trophy : Once you get this item at the previous stage(world), you will be invincible for a while at the next stage.

In world 3 and world 6, The bonus points depends on the remaining time. The timer starts 1000.
Finishing between 900~999 : 900000 pts.
Finishing between 800~899 : 800000 pts.
Finishing between 700~799 : 700000 pts.
...
Finishing between n00~n99 : n00000 pts.
You need to reach at the top of the world(stage) as quick as possible to get higher bonus points.

After clearing All stages(worlds), 100000 pts of bonus points will be awarded. It depends on your remaining lives. Each remaining life worth 100000 pts.
If your remaining lives were "n(the number of remaining lives)", the bonus pts will be (n+1)*100000 pts.

1990년에 출시된 스노우 브라더스의 후속작. 전작에서 출연했던 눈사람 요정 닉과 톰 외에 전기를 사용하는 요정 바비, 물을 사용하는 요정 로이, 그리고 바람을 쓰는 요정 리차드가 추가. 날씨 왕국을 습격해 공주를 납치하고 왕국을 황폐화한 적들을 잡으러 가야 한다. 전체 6스테이지.

- 이야깃거리 -
전작은 토아플랜에서 개발했으나, 본 작품은 하나프람 이름으로 출시. 전작과 본 작품 사이의 시간에 토아플랜이 하필이면 파산하여 회사가 망했다. 하나프람이라는 이름은 과거 토아플랜 소속의 사원들이 모여서 급하게 세운 회사의 명칭이며, 이를 이용하여 가까스로 발매할 수 있었던 것. 당시 일본 경제 상황은 1980년대 버블 경제가 가라앉고 잃어버린 10년이 시작되던 시기였는지라, 그다지 좋은 상황이 아니었다.

일본판 및 아시아판, 한국판에서는 캐릭터 선택 화면에서 요정들의 2D 그림이 출력되지만, 유럽판과 미국판에서는 양키 센스가 물씬 묻어나는 실사가 등장한다. 국내에서 볼 수 있었던 버전은 대부분 유럽판으로 세팅되어 있었으므로, 실사 얼굴을 보는 경우가 많았다. 기판의 딥 스위치를 조정하여 국가 설정을 한국판으로 맞출 수도 있지만, 그렇게 하지 않은 경우가 대부분.

본 작품은 특히 국내에서 많은 인기를 끌었다. 조금만 연습하면 모든 스테이지를 싹쓸이할 수도 있고, 원 크레딧 플레이도 쉽게 할 수 있기 때문. 난이도는 전작에 비해 많이 쉬운 편이다. 무엇보다도, 레버를 아래로 내린 상태에서 점프 버튼을 누르는 것으로 아래로 내려갈 수 있게 되었다는 점이 중요. 전작에서는 그런 것 없다.
