I'm surprised ScHlAuchi did not do a longplay of this version. This is the one that most people know. Game developers redesigned the game with different backgrounds and improved speech and sound.

Unlike the original version, this one was thought to be endless but it indeed, does have an ending. The game has a total of 12 levels but they repeat only once after you've beaten the 12th level. After you've beaten the 12th level twice, the game ends with a funny ending and the game is over.

Most of the home ports like the NES are based on this version of Karate Champ. Not the one ScHlauchi longplayed. -
