Technology builds are quite strong but damn they require a lot of stuff to get to that level, a lot of it is a bit RNG based.

In order to get the items we need, we gotta get hold of a large amount of schematics, these are spread out over several shops: tech and quality blacksmiths, the best concentration of those shops are located in Tarant and are quite close together!

The cost of these schematics is about 250-300 per one! You might have to farm assassins a bit for some extra coin

Just keep in mind, several schematics that I'll list below do require points in different disciplines, for example: Electro armor requires 7 points in Electric and 1 point in Smithy!

I should also state that you can work around those requirements if you are willing to grind a bit more for cash, it's not the most ideal way but if you don't want to burn points in stuff you might not use, this is another way of doing it.

List of main schematics for the build:
Electro Armor: strong tech armor with really decent defense, could last till the endgame!
Charged Sword: Upgraded Balanced Sword, slower speed but does electric damage
Charged Axe: Upgraded Featherweight Axe, slower but adds quite a bit of a electric damage
Flow Disruptor: Basically a Quality Iron Shield with +30 Magic Resistance, but only 20 durability compared to the originals 300.
Bullets: it makes... bullets. allows for cheap creation of bullets, critical for gunslingers!
Pyrotechnic Axe: This is a beastily weapon, upgrades the Featherweight Axe to deal 30-50 fire damage, although it's slower, that is rarely a problem.

Arcanum is a bloody great RPG of the early 2000s, made by Troika Games! The same people who made Vampire: The Masquerade: Bloodlines!

Arcanum takes all the elements from the classic Fallout games and takes it up to eleven with a lot of interesting new systems like craftings, class system, and their quite unique approach to Technology and Magic!

It's not a perfect game by any stretch, it's a bit rough in places and while the world is amazing it does kinda fall off towards the end sadly but I won't say anything else on that.

I hope you'll enjoy this playthrough, I have nothing but love for Arcanum and it's easily one of my favorite RPGs of all time.

Arcanum can be bought off either Steam or GoG for a decent price with GoGs being a little bit cheaper.

This playthrough is using the GoG version, far as I can tell there is little to no difference between the two although I do prefer the GoG one.

Keep in mind: While the VTM: Bloodlines on GoG usually has the unofficial patch on, the same is NOT applied to Arcanum. YOU WILL NEED TO INSTALL THE UNOFFICIAL PATCH YOURSELF.

[Mods and Patches]
This playthrough is using the Unofficial patch and + HQ improvements by Terra Arcanum, and it has to be said it's bloody needed!

Troika games, while great, do need a lot of work afterwards in order to fix various problems and instabilities, Arcanum is no different sadly.

The link and list below are the mods I've used for this playthough, it's faffy and will be a pain to install but I assure you it makes the game a lot friendlier to play.
