ArcheAge - Treasure Map changes in patch 3.5
34Hello everyone! Incase you missed this fact, ArcheAge treasure map with coordinates recieved some changes in ArcheAge patch 3.5. I've decided to test them out after patch went live, during triple loot increase event and here is what I found:
- black pearl drop from rare maps was nerfed, possibly this affect other types of maps but I opnened only 40 arcanes and 100 rares so with rare ones I am sure, with arcane, not so much. I would say their drop chance was reduced from near 100 to around 50-60%
- arcane and heroic maps drop superior and fine lunarites now, used in handicrafting. This drop is a replacement of previously present mana wisps. Mana wisps are being removed from the game and they no longer drop from treasure maps.
- triple drop increase event does not affect map drops, sadly. This also means drop increase potions will not work on those.
- Because of decreased value of archeum, I suggest you keep your archeum drops for now and sell it later if you want to make more money.
