Nota: La canción habla sobre las luchas que atraviesa la banda con los “fans” que afirman que ellos ya no son lo suficientemente "pesados" y que solo son buenos cuando “se sienten mal” y hacen música angustiante y odiosa.
Recordemos que "Seeing Red" según The Urban Dictionary, es un término para cuando alguien está extremadamente enojado y es incontrolable debido a la ira. En este contexto, significa que los “fans” de Architects sólo los prefieren cuando Sam y el resto de la banda se sienten tristes, deprimidos o iracundos.
Al final del primer Verso se puede escuchar "Time hasn't frozen, why do you want me to scream?" Aquí, la banda apunta a los críticos que dicen que la banda ya no es pesada porque ya no hacen principalmente metalcore. Sam quiere cantar y no sólo gritar como en muchos álbumes antiguos de Architects.
En el Coro, Sam se refiere a la idea de que a un artista solo se le permite hacer lo que los fans quieran que haga. "Read mе all my rights" es él pidiendo a los fans que le digan qué tiene permitido hacer, decir, etc. y cómo debe sonar la banda. “I'll never grow tired of your grеat advice” es la respuesta irónica a cualquier respuesta que le den. “Won't somebody tell me what I believe?” Al igual que la primera línea del coro, es un llamado a los fanáticos para que le digan qué es exactamente lo que tiene permitido hacer, decir o sonar. El resto del coro trata a los “fans” como a niños. "Lo siento por sus sacrificios" obviamente no es una disculpa genuina ni cree que estas personas estén sacrificando nada más que unos pocos segundos para publicar odio.
En el segundo verso se escucha "Gee, thanks so much for the death threat" En referencia a las amenazas de muerte que recibieron Sam y el resto de la banda por parte de los "fans" después de que ellos liberaran los primeros sencillos del album The Classic Syntomas Of A Broken Spirit.
El pre-coro "We're all you need, We'll make you royalty, We'll be the best of enemies" solo retrata la contraparte de la banda siendo en este caso los "fans" tratando de persuadirlos con regalías y elogios para que de alguna manera regresen al camino del metalcore.
