I didn't have this game when I had a console, I met the game a lot later as a rom for an emulator. The game itself isn't really good, to be honest. Cryptic items and magic, weird graphic, laggy game engine... There is a lot that can be said unflattering. Yet, I always liked ARPG of any kind, so I feel a bit of regret I didn't meet it earlier. Moreover, the plot of the game is somewhat epic and music sometimes is awesome! Just listen to it - 43:32!.. Well, it would be awesome if you wouldn't need to constantly shoot and pick up items...
I was playing as Diane - an elf archer girl possess healing magic. Not much that can be said about her personality, but it seems she is quite a cheerful person. And I already mentioned how adorable her smile is.
Her starting HP is 6 (average), her basic attack is weak, yet, arrows can bounce of walls. Upgrading arrows allows shoot in three directions which makes a kind of protective barrage. Her level 1 magic is healing full HP bar which is really useful and saves a lot of items... As far as I know her other magic are homing projectiles, but I never used them due to need of healing...
Diane's difficulty: normal.
About other characters:
Jedda - a swrodsman guy possess fire magic. The frame of the ending allows to conclude that he has a kind of relaxed nature, perhaps even stupid. But at the same time he surely will fight for those who he dears. A typical protagonist of shonens, to put it simple. Probably, a leader of the party.
His starter HP is 6 (average), his basic attack is somewhat strong, yet, short (can be fixed with upgrading). His level 1 magic allows him to reduce all the damage by 50% until an act ends which means, in fact, he is a tank. Once you find out how to use his magic, you'll clear the game without any problems as Jedda.
Jedda's difficulty: easy.
Erin - a fighter girl with a whip possess energy magic. Seems like she is a kind of serious girls that never smile. Like Black Killer Masamune of Phantom of the Kill. Or Seida of The Alchemist Code. Or Kujou Sara of Genshin Impact... Why gacha games are all that come to my mind?.. Probably, a leader of the party. I will do a playthrough as Erin too one day.
Her starter HP is 7 (high), her basic attack is really strong. Yet, it is a bit tricky to use, requires proper use of hits forward and around herself. Her level 1 magic is curing poison, but I never understood what this status does. Probably, damage over time, but I never noticed that. So I usually use level 3 magic, it is somewhat strong projectile. The character requires a proper use of items to play.
Erin's difficulty: hard.
Bead - an old man mage. To be honest I didn't play him a lot, so I know almost nothing about him. My guess is that he extreemly depends on proper use of magic crystals, since his magic has 5 different levels (while Jedda, Erin - 3, Diane - 4). He can cure electro-charged status with his magic level 1. His basic HP is 5 (weak).
Bead's diffuculty (presumptive): very hard.
