When making an homemade Arduboy using a Pro Micro with standard wiring, there is no display chip select available. A workaround is to connect the display chip select to GND.
However when adding a flash chip this is not an option.

One of the possible solutions is to create a display chip select using a general purpose PNP transistor to invert the flash chip select.

* connect transistor emitter to VCC
* connect transistor base to 470 to 1K resistor (Depends on transistor) and the other end to flash chip select
* connect transistor collector to display chip select and to 1K resistor
* connect other end of 1K resistor to GND
