Gyrocopters are an interesting unit in a roster lacking speed, but they're the kind of unit that helps clean up the small fry rather than chew apart the heavily armored elites. So, make sure you bring other units for that. Interestingly, Gyrocopters are pretty heavily armored, but they're still fast, ranged (if short-ish ranged) and can be excellent opportunists, pouncing on any weakness - like an exposed back line.
