With BOTW 2 coming (hopefully) next year and rumors of Super Mario Odyssey 2 circling around, I'm starting to think Mario and Zelda might now be a package deal. With the one-two punch of The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild and Super Mario Odyssey back in 2017, Nintendo saved themselves from what many thought was a downward spiral, the Wii U era. Will we see a similar thing happening going forward? Just like what happened during year one of the Nintendo Switch, Nintendo could be planning to pair two of their most highly acclaimed and successful IP to help reinvigorate the entire industry. BOTW 2 and Odyssey 2 could be right around the corner. Are you ready for that? What do you think of the theory? Is the next new Mario game something we should be preparing for?
