So this article here is about gaming and they're saying that mid-range CPUs are really all you need for gaming now I agree with this actually and I think it really depends on your application so if you're doing video editing only on your computer system well you would have a different configuration if you're doing that hardcore as opposed to someone who is a gamer and is gaming all of the time now if you do both well you want a system that can do both if you have an overall no bottleneck computer system and your CPU is you know mid-range you have great memory great motherboard good power supply you know decent SSD everything matches pretty even Steven all across the board and you have a really good video card that's important if you're gaming right you need a really good video card you don't have to go all out on a CPU because when you are gaming a lot of games do not utilize the CPU 100% of the time some of them get pretty high up there but most of the games do not now there is a Reliance of course on the CPU but nowhere near like the Reliance is on the overall system plus the video card so make sure you have a really good video card make sure your system is really good all across the board so as as few bottlenecks as possible have enough memory as well make sure if you're gaming I would recommend honestly 32 GB of memory 16 is fine but 32 is better as for a video card well that's completely up to you but go higher end because that will future proof your purchase and if you get a mid-range CPU that's still a really good CPU especially if the rest of your system matches and you have a really really good video card what do you guys think
