We are all physically awake (most of the time), but most of us simple live our lives going through the motions without really understanding why we do anything. This is being awake. Understanding why you think believe and do everything. This is the secret to self awareness.

The purpose of school is to teach you to the basic skills to work in a factory and then babysit you until you're old enough to do so. If you feel like you weren't prepared for what life is throwing at you, you probably weren't, and it's not your fault. If school is going to let us down, we need to be the master's of our education.
