It's okay to be a little embarrassed by your gaming skills. You don't have to be the best player in the world to enjoy playing video games. In fact, you can still have a lot of fun even if you're not the best. There are plenty of games out there that are designed to be fun for everyone, regardless of skill level.
According to a recent study by the National Institute on Media and the Family, 65% of American families have at least one member who plays video games regularly. That's up from just over half of households in 1999. The study also found that the average American gamer is 33 years old and has been playing for 12 years. Despite the fact that video gaming is more popular than ever, many gamers are still embarrassed by their skills.
It is common to feel like the odd one out when you don't share the same hobbies and interests as your friends. You might feel like you are missing out on a lot of fun. Maybe they are even laughing at you. Gaming can be a great way to connect with friends, but what if you're not good at it?
