Arena Rex: Zephyri starter box unboxed and built!
32Time to dip our feet into Arena Rex today!
This is a game I've wanted to check out since their Kickstarter. Small amount of models, interesting and simple mechanics, a strong dash of fantasy, and some excellent aesthetics with a lot of Kingdom Death alumni involved- what's not to like?
So we started with the Zephyri, who are a mix of Norsemen and Native Americans (or Atlanteans as they're called in- game).
Our wolf pelt girl is probably the standout, and why she's featured front and center on the box (which has a lot of empty space to be honest inside it). Models were easy to put together.
Sven's spear was a bit thinner than I'd hoped but attached alright.
