Ark: Crystal Isles - How to build a Base - Hatchery & Dino Pen (No Mods)
453This Hatchery and dino pens are built on the Crystal isles map.
This is part of the village I am building on the hill on the Crystal Isles map.
I got the idea from a guy called Philip Johnston on the Ark Builders and breeders FaceBook group, he said there are not many hatchery builds around so I thought it would be a good addition to the village.
There are two sides to the base connected with a small bridge over the pathway, but you could build the bridge further depending on where you are.
There are small Dino pens connected to each building and smaller pens on the upper floors for breeding shoulder pets.
I built some watchtowers on the surrounding walls, the roofs of the buildings are accessible and can be used to land flyers. It's a more modern design than usual, it's like a compact little castle :)
In this tutorial, there are a lot of Ark building ideas and building tips that can be used on your own building designs.
This base location is on the Crystal Isles map, built on official settings with no mods.
Ark Survival Evolved has amazing building mechanics, there are endless ways to design and build your base.
