ARK Devs respond to Survival Ascended UE5 controversey! Studio Wildcard have reached out to PC Gamer and issued a statement on the roadmap announcement regarding ARK Survival Ascended not being free after they claimed it to be back in January.

The roadmap caused controversy due to the Unreal Engine 5 upgrade, ARK Survival Ascended is going to cost players money for the upgrade and all DLCs, therefore rebuying the game they already have. In addition to this all official servers will be shutdown.
