This is a benchmark for the Ark: Survival Evolved BETA for the PC. I received this game via a free weekend on steam and recorded the footage using Nvidia's "Geforce Experience: Shadowplay." The FPS counter you see is from FRAPs. I noticed very negligible differences in framerates when recording, so what you see is around the same performance to be expected from my particular setup when not recording.

PC Specs:
-Windows 10
-Asus Hero VIII Motherboard
-Intel Core i7-6770k @4.10 GHz
-16GB DDR4 (3200MHz) RAM
-EVGA Nvidia Geforce GTX 980 ti (6GB)
-OCZ 650W PSU

This game is the worst pile of crap on the planet when it comes to optimization. I mean... this game is just badly made. I have not once seen it run well with any configuration, especially my own. I tried High settings and received a somewhat playable framerate, but it just looked awful and blurry. There's also no vertical sync option which is a deal breaker for me as the screen tearing was unbearable.

As always, I hope this video helps give any curious PC gamers a better idea of how this game will perform. Be sure to subscribe for some more Benchmarks in addition to gameplay videos, tutorials, and reviews!
