This map was a pain. I got a 400 kill clear on stream four days ago, but the strategy was chaotic and messy, so I wanted to come up with something better.
The biggest issues were the half-asleep flowers, the rock guys who don't directly attack but deal significant arts damage and nervous impairment as they lose health, and the boss at the end (The First to Talk).
My original strategy for dealing with the half-asleep flowers was to point Ash with S2 toward the left spawn point and have W build a minefield around my gate. Ash usually couldn't one shot them (unless she was bolstered with Skadi's buff via Seaborn), but W would finish them off. It wasn't the worst strategy since Ash pulled double duty in fighting the aerial guys, but I wanted something better since she did nothing to combat the sleepy flowers which came from the bottom-right spawn point near the end. For the longest time I tried to make only W work, but there was too much luck involved. I finally thought of a Weedy S2 + Gravel stall strategy today, and it ended up working quite well.
At any rate, I think Anni 8 was leagues harder than Anni 6 and 7. I suppose it wasn't as bad as Anni 5 (Frozen Abandoned City). Well, perhaps this map is actually very easy and I just can't see it—I haven't watched anyone else's clears yet, and now that I'm finally done with this it's time to check out how other people tackled it.
