Arknights- [Event] DM-MO-1 - Non-Optimal Clears are Non-Optimal
So... I messed up several times on this recording, but... ehhh~
Definitely overloaded my Medic line-up a bit for this map. Just a bit. Maybe. Definitely made quite a number of mistakes with deployment and skill usage
Silverash was totally supposed to die right there, definitely intended (not really -- he wasn't supposed to flop over at all, but luckily his redeployment timer came back up before he was needed again so it didn't make too big of a difference)
There's quite a few areas that could be polished off a bit more, but other people have much lower investment and lower necessary unit team compositions already that don't need quite as much micro-management (at least a little less than what I needed to do), so I'm not going to try polishing this more
So, obviously a number of the units I've used aren't actually 100% necessary with this layout -- Ch'en can be substituted reasonably easily with most guards, Ptilo + Silence on Ch'en at the end is because I haven't invested in Nightingale who I assume can cover Ptilo's role of multi-target healing easily/better (people also just choose not to use the air vent and heal with a single target at range instead, which honestly looks to be a better method)
I am going to assume Silverash can easily be replaced by Lappland in this situation. Maybe. Any guard that can hit ranged and multiple enemies will probably work (not too many of these, though)
And Bison can probably be replaced with most Defenders too, with Saria M3 probably being a better substitute especially in the case of using Lappland for SP recharge if it comes down to it (or even just slowing enemies down for Broca to get back up, or recharging Broca S2). Might be able to throw down another Guard with some range instead to clear enemies faster instead
Chiave is sorta 'just because.' Just use Texas, you probably actually have her and she is probably reasonably built anyway
Broca is probably ironically not that easily replaceable with this layout. Blaze will do a better job -- but if you have Blaze, you might as well use the lower resource investment team strats that other people have been using (that have also been up on Youtube for several days longer too). Now that I think about it... Specter should be usable as an alternative, possibly other AoE guards as well (not Popukar). Difference is that she'll need to tank, likely with the enemies being buffed if you slip up on not eliminating the sentinel early enough
Folinic helps. But you can also just use her S1 for the extra range and place her back a square instead of using S2 for attacking enemies if your melee DPS do a good enough job. You can also consider certain ranged DPS in her spot which do not attack to the right or left of themselves, assuming your healing is sufficient (if it is necessary anyway)
Shining is also helpful with keeping melee units alive with her Defense increase passive -- that's the only reason she is there. Healing? Shield? Both are nice, but it's really the Defense buff that you want. Now that I think about it, I should have had her using S3 instead of S2... oops?
Phantom and Project Red -- you need one of the two at the very least for this method. But people have made do with just Gravel instead, so... meh. E2 is just for tanking the first hit of the chargers at the entrance and ensuring you actually kill it right there if that is your preferred method, rather than stopping them at the end of their charge. This is with Project Red S1 and Phantom S2. S3 Phantom and S2 Project Red are useful for stopping the chargers at the end of the charge instead and also allow for pulling multiple enemies at a time for the line at the right side of the map
