FOR WEEK TWO PLAYERS: This strat is easily convertible into Risk 18 by simply adding the Extra Attack Range risk. The casters will be able to hit your Astesia from longer range, but it doesn't matter because Astesia will never take enough damage to die before Saria heals her.

If you are here from my Risk 16 clear, please note that some skill levels have increased and some operators are now E2'ed (Lappland S2M3 and Nearl has been E2'ed and S1M1). In addition, Texas has been removed in favor of a borrowed Ch'en with S2M1 to help wave clear. I spent so long trying to optimize my run and use the same team as my Risk 16 clear, but it was impossible after hours of testing so I decided to level up my operators and skills and change the team a bit. I tried to keep it as close to my original run as possible, but changes had to be made. Sorry in advance.

This clear was during the first week of the Contingency Contract Event release, meaning that the extra risks and contracts were not yet available to be picked. This is a risk 17 clear using the limited risks of the first week's risk pool.

Please also note that this is not the most stable run in the world. The beginning portion is simple enough (use Ch'en and Astesia when the Armed Militants come) but timing the kill on the final 2 Red Avengers is where the difficulty comes in. You need your team to deal enough chip damage to one of the Avengers so that the Avengers' HP Bars are somewhat staggered (this means waiting until the last possible second to use your skills so that everyone's basic attacks can chip one Avenger for as long as possible before your AOE skills are used). This will make it so that your Cuora won't have to endure both of the Avengers below 50% health for too long. If both of the Avengers reach 50% HP for a prolonged period of time before one of them is killed, you may need to restart the run and make sure that the Avengers have staggered HP. This happened to me many times (tested/optimized for over 3 hours straight), you just need to be patient and try your best to stagger.
