Arknights Invitation to Wine event: Sui-Xiang boss battle (IW-9) - is this Sal Vento Quintius 2.0!?
0Yeah, this definitely is more dangerous and menancing boss than Sal Vento Bishop Quintus... another colossal boss. Has a bit more tricky gimmick overall. But surprise, still vulnerable to Le Shamare.
Sui-Xiang has 55000 HP in first phase, 1400 ATK and 550 DEF as well. All 3 phases have 30 RES, relatively low for a boss. In fact, this is actually a boss where multi-phase bursting with quick cycle skills work well on (such as Exusiai S3 or Schwarz S3).
The first thing he does is use that copycat of Passenger's S3 doing arts damage, a lot of them. It is really bad to put units adjacent to each another (not diagonally), and the only way to stop that from eventually killing operators is well, more healing (in fact isn't this slightly encouraged in most boss battles?), or quickly burst phase 1.
Second phase has 75000 HP and +100 ATK making the boss have 1500 ATK, but instead loses 50 DEF (which stays for final phase). Sui-Xiang will do a dropping sword tail that hits twice for like, a total of 3000 damage (only high level defender operators can survive this, or alternatively you can bait with Tactician Vanguard's summons (Blacknight or Beanstalk doesn't matter which one you have, just put either summon close to the boss as latest deployment). Again, burst with quick skills as usual LOL
Final phase: 95000 HP and ATK now is 1600. Sui Xiang at first repeats the first phase, but after a short while he'll fire that massive beam that can make tiles undeployable forever if no friendlies are in the way - only way to stop is outright burst him. It's possible though, his DEF isn't good, neither his RES is. Even then, having Multi-Target medic skills make it easier to tank the beam damage (it does BOTH Phys and Arts!!).
With Shamare + Skadi the Corrupting Heart + Exusiai and good skill timing, it's possible to burst this massive boss the same way you did to a certain huge Seaborn monster.
Yeah, this can either range between massively difficult to near impossible for newer doctors, or outright pathletic, for those with many 6 star Operators.
