Lords of Acid is an electronic music group from Antwerp, Belgium. The band follows the New Beat genre, and it is led by musician Praga Khan, founded in 1988. The current lineup of Lords of Acid consists of Praga Khan – keyboards, programming, backing vocals; Galen Waling – drums; DieTrich Thrall – bass; Marieke Bresseleers – lead vocals; Sin Quirin – guitars; and Mark Thwaite – guitars. A few of the former members are Olivier Adams, Ludo Chamberlain (a.k.a. Carl S. Johansen), Ruth McArdle (a.k.a. Lady Galore and Cherrie Blue), and Deborah Ostrega.

Lords of Acid debuted with the new beat single named "I Sit on Acid" in 1988. The debut album by the band was 1991's Lust, along with some additional singles that are "I Must Increase My Bust" and "Rough Sex." Voodoo-U was the second album by the band, released in 1994, and featured more industrial sound. Some of the other notable albums by the group are Our Little Secret (1997), Farstucker (2001), Deep Chills (2012), and Pretty in Kink (2018).

Lords of Acid have also performed under the pseudonyms Digital Orgasm, Channel X, and 101 that was a more rave-influenced sound. The band has explored various other genres of music, which include pop, jazz, Latin, Folk, Reggae, country, hip-hop, and a few more. The soundtrack credits of the group include Sliver, Strange Days, Bad Lieutenant, Austin Powers: The Spy Who Shagged Me, Paparazzi, Virtuosity, and Sucker Punch.
