Something I tried to do in Yolympics a while ago but never finished.

A few notes on clearing this game:
-Rank isn't as aggressive as in Garegga but still needs to be kept in mind.
-Extends drop as items instead of being given directly by score, and it's often more worth it to simply not pick it up than it is to suicide to reduce rank and pick it up.
-There are 3 different Stage 5 bosses, you're guaranteed to get one based on which stage you get for Stage 2. This is why I chose Sewer second, as it guarantees Sobut, which is the easiest one. (Sky gives Blunt which is harder but not too bad, and Airport gives Envy. Do not choose Airport, ever.)
-You can still get the other Stage 5 bosses if you get a Special Level Up. So getting one before the Stage 5 boss was pretty much just a reset for me, but once I got to 6 it didn't matter.

I set up a few conditions for when I would go for extends, and had a few contingency plans for if I fell off route.
-If all goes well, I would go for the Special Extend, which requires dropping 3 Extend items in a row and picking up the 4th. This completely refills your life stock with a reduced rank penalty.
-If I'm still on pace for the Special Extend, I'd sacrifice the secret extend in Stage 5 completely and kill the midboss before it reaches the end. This is because from my testing it seemed a little inconsistent whether or not it actually counted towards the Special Extend requirement, in save state practice I was able to get it from the 4.5m extend by getting the secret extend and not picking it up, but a few times when I tried that on full runs it didn't work.
-Because of all this, my goal was to score at least 6m points. This isn't that strict of a score requirement, and can be done just with a decent medal chain. My goal was to keep the chain until Stage 5, but in this run I dropped it towards the end of 4. However, this was still enough for me to get to 6m.
-If I drop down to my last life, I'd completely sacrifice the Special Extend and just start collecting Extends normally. (Funnily enough, I did that in this run but still would have gotten the Special Extend on Discharge if I didn't)
-If I drop down to my last life BEFORE the first extend, I'd pick it up, get the Stage 5 secret extend and drop it, then try to get the Special Extend from 6m.

I feel like most of this game's difficulty comes from understanding the game mechanics and the fact that you can only have 3 lives at once (and these are not 3 extra lives, at any point you can only die twice without a game over). The dodging overall felt much easier than in Garegga, and as I said earlier, the rank in this game isn't as aggressive either.
