0In Armored Core 6: Fires of Rubicon, the mission “Attack the Old Spaceport” takes place in Chapter 3. Here’s a walkthrough to guide you through every step of this mission:
Mission Briefing:
You receive your briefing from the rather annoying V.II Snail.
Your objective is to hit the former Bertram Spaceport, which has been seized by the PCA (Preserve and Conserve Association).
You need to destroy the warships parked there while your old pal Rusty takes care of a communications facility.
Build Recommendations:
For most of this mission, mobility isn’t critical, but you’ll need strong boosters to reach high locations.
Keep your overall weight low and boost high.
Consider using reverse-jointed legs to hop onto warships.
Weapons: The Pulse Blade is effective, but having a Bazooka, Laser Cannon, or sniper-type weapon for long-range warship destruction is advisable.
Mission Steps:
Start: Turn right until you reach approximately 172 on the compass at the bottom of the screen.
Head toward the water tanks on the cliff where the base begins.
You’ll attract the attention of two LCs bearing Combat Logs.
If you’re in a log-hunting mood, head across the middle level of the tall structure at the center of the map. There’s another PCA LC with a Combat Log in the open area near the black lattice towers.
Clear out smaller troops as you head toward the objectives.
The berthed warships have active mounted cannons but won’t move. Focus on destroying the bridge of each craft.
Follow the passageway through the tunnel and up the ramp into the wide-open docking yard.
Three warships sit in a row; stay nimble to avoid enemy fire and destroy their helms.
Grapple with elite PCA soldiers along the way.
After destroying the final warship, the PCA gets communications back online, and reinforcements arrive123.
