The latest Armored Core 6 gameplay trailer and info has me thinking this is a souls game in disguise. A brand new Armored Core 6 trailer debuted just yesterday with gameplay and interviews showed up with great information. We also got the Armored Core 6 release date in the announcement.

Armored Core 6 Fires of Rubicon looks like another great game to add to the catalog of FromSoftware games that we have. My own personal Armored Core 6 gameplay reaction is very positive and I have a tentative interest in the game.
