Armored Core 6 Playthrough Part 51 Dukes Up 1440p Max Settings
Armored Core VI: Fires of Rubicon is a mecha-based vehicular combat game developed by FromSoftware and published by Bandai Namco Entertainment. The first entry in the Armored Core series since Armored Core: Verdict Day in 2013.
Finally after waiting for 10 years we are finally back. After being a fan of the AC series since Armored Core 2 on the PS2 I can't wait to play through this next entry and see what improvement FromSoftware has made to AC 6.
After only playing the first couple of missions I can already say that this is a Armored Core game through and through; and that I can highly recommend it to anyone that is a fan of the series or as a jumping on point for people that haven't got much experience with the franchise.
For people wondering what the gameplay is like I would say the that it feel like a mix between 3rd Gen and 4th Gen AC games. General combat feels like Armored Core 3 in terms of speed and being methodical with selecting targets and managing your movement and energy. But then it really ramps up in speed to being closer to Armored Core For Answer when you face off against tough enemies and bosses. The addition of being able to fire all your weapons at once and using Assault Boost really puts a focus on playing aggressively and managing your energy while outmaneuvering your enemies. It also has great feedback making you feel like a walking flying weapon of mass destruction.
There also seems to be a much heavier focus on story and really highlighting the corporate wars on the desolate world of Rubicon 3 and our pilot finding there place in the conflict as a mercenary; with our handler Walter and other character providing dialog in missions and cut scenes as to out purpose here.
The soundtrack and sound design are also excellent providing a great backdrop to the gameplay and making the combat feel very hard hitting. And some of the boss music that I have heard from the official soundtrack really stands out and probably matches some of the soundtracks of other FromSoftware games like the Dark Souls games and Elden Ring.
I can't wait to see what the customization has in store for us and what build we can come with as a community as they really highlighted this before the game released. And with the ability to download schematics of other people builds there seems to always be some new ideas to try out.
Performance also seem rock solid and the game looks absolutely fantastic, with FromSoftware continuing there tradition of being industry leads when it comes to art direction and design.
Hopefully you all enjoy the walkthough and seeing what this game has to offer together. I know a lot of people have been waiting for a new AC game for long time.
