This is my first video in a series focused on showcasing tricks in mech speedgames. Armored Core, originally released for the PS1, has a fantastic and accessible out of bounds method that works on all versions of the game.

As covered in the video, if you equip the right parts (XCA-00 + AN-3001 + LN-501) and, while starting a strafe (i.e., pressing L1 or R1), press down on the dpad to back up, you will enter into a glitched walking animation that takes you through any wall or floor. The timing is a little precise, but it's consistent with practice, and is especially easy to practice strafing into a wall to maintain a static position.
