Sea Spider is an enemy that at first it seems incredibly hard...but once learned it's just all about staying as much close to him as possible with a lightweight he becomes kind of a joke...not that it fails at killing you. You still have to pay a lot of attention.
2nd Phase is actually easier than 1st. The strategy is flying for his first attack and for the rest of the fight you should be able to stay on the ground without any problem (unless he goes for the blade attack).
I opted for Laser Turrets instead of the Orbit Cannons solely cause the latter when deployed close to sea spider get instantly destroyed...yeah that sucks I know
If you don't like playing with handguns you can go for shotguns, either Zimmerman or the 16 Bullet Shotgun (don't remember the name). The only downside of shotguns is for 2nd phase where you must fly in order to hit.
