Choose a load out with lots of ammo and geared for taking out small fries fast, while also capable of dishing out decent punishment against ACs and tetrapod MTs. Take out all the enemies in each wave quickly before the next wave shows up, or you might get overwhelmed. Shooting down the transport helos carrying MTs can make things easier. Be sure to go after the large transports as they carry shield-bearing MTs, so you can take a few of them out of the picture early. Damage taken by your AC shouldn't be too much of a factor for the S rank. All the same avoid taking too much damage early since you'll be facing G1 Michigan in his AC LIGER TAIL in the fourth wave right alongside his MT comrades. There is one tetrapod MT each in the third and fifth waves, so keep close eye on your ammo!
