Armored Core VI - S-Rank [ft. AC LAMMERGEIER] - Ch05 M36 - Take the Uninhabited Floating City
4First: Choose "Pulse Protection" Core expansion for your AC before starting the mission. This one is a little trickier to S rank than Heavy Missile Launch Support. The only thing you should worry about is the Xylem Control Tower's AP. It should be over 90% if you want that S rank. And that basically means, the Xylem Shield should not go down!! It's ok if it has even just a sliver of health remaining. But if it goes down, consider restarting as the tower will likely have taken damage by then!
Prioritize the helicopters carrying MTs. But the real threats are:
1. Sniper LCs - Choose a loadout that will let you finish them FAST, because they'll severely drain the Xylem's tower shields with each hit. And believe me these guys don't give a shit about your presence!
2. Suicide drone - This is where your Pulse Protection comes into play. Stand on the tower's ledge. When the drones arrive, they'll rise up sharply before coming straight at the tower. Jump to their level and move forward. Deploy your Pulse Protection when they're approaching about a 1000m. Don't worry the Pulse Protection will last for a good while.
3. HF LC - Take it out on priority! Don't let it anywhere near the tower. It's no HC, it's just a little hardier than regular LCs. Finish it quick.
Once that is done just stay near the tower destroying the MTs. As long as you don't let them take a firing stance the tower should be safe
