Arrangement: The One and Only One (Welcome to Pooh Corner)
Requested by another YouTube user to acknowledge A.A. Milne's birthday (January 18), which doubles as National Winnie-the-Pooh Day, this is my simplified take on the song "The One and Only One." It was written by the Sherman Brothers for the television program "Welcome to Pooh Corner," and was later remade for the direct-to-video special "Sing a Song With Pooh." I first learned it from the episode "My Echo and I" (the first episode I ever watched).
My version is a jazz combo take for:
Muted trumpet
Sax section (alto, tenor, baritone)
Trombone
Piano
Acoustic bass
Drum set
Glockenspiel
Vibraphone
