For years Intel gave us generation after generation of quad core slop with barely any improvements until AMD entered the scene with Ryzen which kickstarted nearly a decade of rapid CPU improvements from both companies,

But the AMD of today seems to be slowly reversing positions with Intel as they just released one of the most disappointing desktop CPUs I can recall in recent history, meanwhile Intel is developing what might just be the largest improvement with their new desktop Arrow Lake CPUs promising lower power, much higher performance, and a better plug and play experience that should be a real wake up call for AMD to reverse course ASAP before it's too late.
