On the more interesting side of the NHL, we had ourselves the reveal as to the NHL's Ted Lindsay Award candidates; the award for the NHL's most outstanding player as voted on by members of the NHLPA. This year, the trophy boils down to the Colorado Avalanche's centre Nathan MacKinnon, the Edmonton Oilers powerhouse Leon Draisaitl, and the New York Rangers' dominant star Artemi Panarin.
For Panarin though, when speaking about this award, he ended up revealing his odd sentiment: how he thanks every GM in the NHL for not drafting him when he was a draft-eligible prospect back in 2010.

Artemi Panarin, born on October in 1991, would have been eligible for the NHL Entry Draft in 2010.
