As Good As Our Word | Sternly Worded Adventures (Roguelite RPG Word Game - Demo)
93Sternly Worded Adventures is a wonderful game about fighting monsters by making words! The longer the word we make, the more powerful it is.
As we venture round a very pretty map we take on various enemies in crypts or in forests. During each battle we have a grid of letters that we must use to create a word, and with that word we do battle! Some letters are on special tiles which mean they cause more damage so words using those letters are better, but of course there's the minor matter of seeing the words in the first place...
We pick up treasures that give us special abilities, for example healing each turn or producing wildcard tiles to help us make more complex words. We also pick up lovely shiny gold, because of course we do!
On our journey we find settlements where can spend our money on potions to heal us or cure poisons, plus we can rest at inns to heal up too.
All-in-all it's a very lovely game about spelling words and I'll admit that I wasn't very good at it but I had a great time! Oh and some of the bad guys have amazing names.

WHAT'S IN THE DEMO?
In the demo you are limited to the starting Adventurer class.
You can play any adventure node up to and including Level 3. Visiting a Level 4 node triggers an event that ends the demo.
You have access to every item the adventurer could normally access except for one, which is restricted because it can trigger the afore mentioned event early.
You have full access both of the Wordle and Minesweeper inspired minigames, without limit.
