111Mini Airways is a game that sees us take on the role of an air traffic controller and manage a lot of aeroplanes. So yes, me, managing lots of things, with the potential for disaster... you know how this goes...
We begin in London and use the minimalist interface to direct planes to land at our airport. All we have to do is click and drag, which is nice and simple, but soon things get a bit complicated when the skies get a bit more crowded.
As well as navigating incoming planes TO our runway, we have to help planes go OUT from the runway to a specific waypoint on the map. This can make things a little bit complicated when there are inbound and outbound planes trying to use the runway at the same time!
As we play we're able to pick up bonuses, such as a bigger waiting area for our outbound planes or the ability for the planes to turn a little more sharply. The more planes we successfully help land or depart means we're able to unlock other airports, each with their own challenges.
Some airports have multiple runways, one has runways that cross over in three places and another has a lot of mountains we have to avoid...
So expect confusion, disorganisation and perhaps a few little aeronautical incidents...
