Don't confuse being excited for the future release of a game with being overhyped for the future release of a game. ESPECIALLY when an unreleased MMORPG is involved.
The team at Intrepid Studios, the ones developing Ashes of Creation, have the experience, the financial backing and the capabilities especially with the assistance of Unreal Engine 5. They're playing for all the shamuppins with the development of AoC, and so far they seem to be doing well.
But that doesn't mean believing that this game is going to lead humanity in to a new age of enlightenment makes it in to a reality. You're only hurting yourself and the game and setting both up for failure.
