Ashes of the Singularity 720p Nvidia GT 1030 DX11 Intel I5-2400 Dell budget gaming system
*System is an old Dell Optiplex 390 SFF
** The benchmark was performed in dx12 mode as well but for reasons i couldn't figure out or resolve I could not produce a usable video. Do not have this issue in other dx12 titles. My best guess is the high cpu usage prevents proper video recording and i don't have an external recorder. (see below for more info)
CPU: I5-2400 3.1ghz base - 3.4ghz turbo
GPU: Nvidia GT 1030 2gb
Ram: 10gb 1333mhz ddr3 (motherboard does not support faster memory)
Win10, game was recorded in DX11 mode using Msi Video Capture.
***Even though couldn't record a video, I did run the benchmark in dx12 mode so i could tell you the numbers. In the name of accuracy I reran the test in dx11 without recording in order to get the most comparable results so if these numbers differ from the video that's why.
DX11 results: DX12 results:
Avg. Framerate all batches: 35.1 fps 30.9 fps
Avg. Framerate normal batches 40.4 fps 36.6 fps
Avg. Framerate medium batches 38.1 fps 31.5 fps
Avg. Framerate Heavy batches 30.4 26.4
While not terribly lower I have noticed lower performance with this system in dx12. The same happens in Battlefield 1.
