Ashley Eckstein is the founder of Her Universe, a clothing line she created with sci-fi, fantasy and animation clothing in mind, specifically for female fans-- which can be quite difficult to find. Her Universe creates clothing based on such brands as Doctor Who, Star Wars, Star Trek, Marvel, The Walking Dead, Transformers, and now Studio Ghibli. The company held a contest for budding fashion designers to create the own looks (based on characters from series like Game of Thrones, Pokemon, Battlestar Galactica, and more), with two winners getting the chance to design a fashion line to be sold nationally.
