114Rosen Method Bodywork looks kind of like a massage, but it focuses on the practitioner assessing the tension in a client's body and making them aware of the tension, while feeling for changes in that tension or in their breath. They meet the tension, not pushing past it, to allow the client to relax on their own while being aware of what specifically is going on. It is used for not only physical healing, but emotional & spiritual healing as well. It consists of a body reading and then the actual treatment, and it's done both lying on one's stomach as well as face up.
