ASMR Gaming Whisper | Wandering in Skyrim (VR!) | Part XXIII (relaxing ASMR sounds for sleep)
Hail, weary traveller! Rest yourself by the roaring fire as we quietly explore the cozy Nightgate Inn, and then bundle up as we take to the frosty early-morning roads and travel to Windhelm! With torch in hand and snow crunching underfoot, we witness beautiful auroras, cascading waterfalls, and a spectacular sunrise.
This is the first Wandering in Skyrim episode filmed in VR! I recorded everything using my Oculus Rift headset, meaning what you see on screen is what I see in VR. It's kind of like a virtual Skyrim GoPro. The result is a (hopefully) more immersive experience for you, at the cost of shakier camerawork (trust me, I was trying to keep my head as steady as I could!). I would love to hear your opinions on this experiment, good or bad. Please leave a comment below!
ASMR triggers include whispering and relaxing nature sounds like crackling fire, crunching show, whistling wind and flowing water. Listen with headphones for the best experience!

----- WHAT IS ASMR? -----
My videos are designed to trigger a relaxing feeling known as ASMR (Autonomous Sensory Meridian Response). ASMR is a particular sensation that some people experience when they hear quiet sounds like whispering and soft speaking, or watch certain actions like slow hand motions. ASMR is often described as a pleasant tingling on the head and neck, accompanied by a feeling of deep calm and mild euphoria. Many people watch ASMR videos to relax and combat anxiety, stress, or insomnia. To learn more about ASMR, check out https://asmruniversity.com/about-asmr/what-is-asmr.
