ASMR Whisper: Editing Travel Photos in Adobe Lightroom
I find it supremely relaxing to edit travel photos while listening to ASMR, so I figured why not combine the two? In this video, I give a calm, whispered tour of basic photo processing features in Adobe Lightroom CC, while touching-up some shots from Italy, Hawaii, and NYC. It's like a relaxing mini-vacation, and you might even learn something along the way! I hesitate to call this a tutorial, because it's rather rambling and I only use a handful of features, but I hope you at least find it relaxing :)
This is an experiment; it's a bit different from my regular content, and I'm curious to hear what you think of it. As usual, feel free to leave a comment with you thoughts, and give a thumbs-up if you liked it!
ASMR triggers include whispering, mouth sounds, clicking, and rambling.
I strongly recommend listening to this video with headphones for the best experience!
----- What's ASMR, and why am I whispering? -----
I whisper in my videos because they're intended to trigger a sensation called ASMR (Autonomous Sensory Meridian Response). ASMR is a specific feeling that some people experience when they hear certain soft sounds, like whispering and tapping, or see certain visuals, like deliberate hand motions. It's often described as a pleasant tingling in the head and neck, accompanied by a sense of calmness and mild euphoria. Many people watch ASMR videos to help them relax or fall asleep.
