Aspects of Mourn: Freya Kaine
4Aspects of Mourn is a book series I conceived decades ago. It is my attempt at a world of Superheroes vastly different from Marvel and DC Comics. Since I have a terminal health condition it limits the amount of time I have to work on this series. It would have been Nine Books or Three Video Games with Three Story Arcs per game.
Most of my superheroes (or Heroics as I dubbed them) are females. Only a few are human. And none sport the "Less Armor is More" looks that are worn by Vamperilla, Lady Death, and Withblade. I don't even like the Chest Window that Powergirl once showcased.
There are also no "surprise" villains disguised as heroes on my world. Nor were there meant to be origin stories. These heroes know theie own capabilities and the books were meant to showcase them and surprise the reader. When they encountered a villain it was meant to be that with no one in their own ranks ready to stab the heroes in the back.
Freya Kaine is meant to be the "standout" hero that most of the others revere. Mostly my take on Captain America or Superman. Bubblegum is Ms. Positive and Scythe is Ms. Serious. Freya just wants to do right by the people of Mourn.
It is my hope that, after I am gone, these heroes find some way out there into people's hearts.
