According to a recent report by Western news outlets, Ubisoft has green-lit a remake of Assassin's Creed 4: Black Flag, it's still early in development though. But we have another update, the Japan-based Assassin’s Creed: Codename Red is reportedly launching in 2024. This was reported by Eurogamer and IGN. Basically, there was a Ubisoft employee who posted on LinkedIn. In the post, it was also hinted there might tie-in between manga and podcasts according to the marketing push. Just to add context a lot of gamers are waiting for a Japanese setting of Assassin's Creed. Then last September 2022 Ubisoft revealed that Assassin's Creed: Codename Red which will be set in feudal Japan
