We all know how broken this game was at launch,it was notorious on consoles dropping frame rates to the upper or mid teens in the busy areas, but you might ask the game was so unoptimized, but was it? it was glitching like crazy yes but one thing that most people tend to forget is the fact that current gen soon to be called last gen consoles have weak CPUs, so weak in fact that this game broke them, thanks to it's crazy world filled with so many NPCs at the same time, as shown in the footage some crowded places can get to maybe a hundred NPCs at once.
here we are again years later after the rocky launch going to revisit this game before the Next Gen consoles drop, but this time we gonna try it on PC with a new Ryzen 7 3700X that is actually twice as fast (multi core wise) as the what the recommended requirements were for this game (3770K)
keep an eye on the CPU usage and you will know why even the fastest gaming rigs at the time struggled with this game
i may go back and do a deep dive testing this game on different CPUs like 10600K and the i7 2600K and the Ryzen 7 2700
for now we will see how a powerful CPU can brute force this game
